what happened in roughly 1870 though
why was there temporary internet
with a few people searching for pokemon?
It’s a search of Google books, but the question still stands, what the Fuck happened in 1870
I CAN ANSWER THIS!!
In the Cornish dialect of English, Pokemon meant ‘clumsy’ (pure coincidence).
In the mid 1800s there was a surge of writing about the Cornish language and dialect in an attempt to preserve them with glossaries and dictionaries being written. I wrote about it HERE.
I just love that this post happened to find the ONE HUMAN ON THE INTERNET who had the answer to this question
Fudge recipe on a headstone
I feel like I should make this just to be able to say a dead person taught me how to make it. Maybe I’ll do it for Halloween.
I desperately hope that she spent her entire life telling people that they could have her fudge recipe “over my dead body.”
That last comment is absolutely worth reblogging.
This is literally what Terry Pratchett wears to conventions.
What a good thing is Terry Pratchett.
As a rule I have to reblog Terry Pratchett, even if I’ve already done so before.
As some of you might already have guessed, I’m a fan of Japanese girl idols. One of the many, many idol groups in existence today in Japan is NMB48, a Osaka-based spin-off group of the (in)famous AKB48. NMB has a weekly show that’s surprisingly entertaining as well…
I can honestly ship anyone in the main cast of Princess Tutu together. My favorite is definitely Fakir/Ahiru, but I really like how I can imagine Mytho/Fakir, Rue/Ahiru, Rue/Mytho, and any other combination that comes to mind and it still feels right, like it would work and everyone would be happy.
